REC Fire’s expertise streamlines regulatory compliance, reduces delays, cuts costs, and expedites construction processes for enhanced fire safety in any facility.
All piping design will utilize CAD software to create construction drawings. Hydraulic calculation software will be utilized to ensure water demand can be met. Most facilities will require a flow test to determine water availability and Shaver Fire can arrange and organize the flow test to be conducted and present the data to the Client so the Client will have one less task to perform. We will provide a design for water supply and sprinkler piping design uniquely tailored to each Client’s facility. Water is the most common fire extinguishing agent used because of it’s exceptional cooling characteristics, relatively cheap, and wide availability.
- Fire Pumps
- Sprinkler Suppression and piping systems (automatic, dry pipe, pre-action, deluge, double-interlock)
- Fire Hydrants and piping
- Firewater Storage Tanks
REC has designed many water-based fire suppression systems that included replacing existing fire pumps or adding new fire pumps to existing facilities. We have worked and have good relationships with many Fire Pump Vendors. These current relationships will help minimize capital costs and aid in testing and Commissioning process.
Whether your facility is a campus or a single building REC can perform a total facility investigation and identify each hazard, where each hazard is located, and the best solution to protect Life & Property from each specific hazard.
Hazard & Fire Risk Assessments are essential into gaining insight into and characterizing fire-related risks to better inform the wide range of decisions that should be made concerning a building, facility, or process as part of the design, construction, and operation.
- Educates personnel and management about the hazards in their facility
- Creates a more efficient environment for operations
- Uniquely addresses every hazard and how best to mitigate any damage created by that hazard.
A Hazard & Fire Risk Assessment gives each Client the information needed so they can make the best decision possible for their facility. Shaver Fire will implement a performance-based design where needed to create a more cost-effective solution while meeting the intent of the governing Codes and standards.
